This coffee was grown by Karangura Peak Coffee Cooperative, a collective of 712 small-holder farmers who share the land of the Karangura Community. Grown high in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountain range in Uganda, this coffee is delicious and makes a difference. Farmers are guaranteed fair prices for this coffee, and are paid an additional social premium of 20 cents/lb. The coffee itself is a dark roast with tasting notes of creamy milk chocolate and citrus fruit.

Chocolate Tree's dedication and passion for outstanding classic and inventive flavours is combined with a responsible approach.  They source organic cacao liquor from Peru, where the cacao trees grow amongst other plants and wildlife, and work directly with cooperatives who ensure a high price is paid to farmers.
